Newspaper broadside, 1 page, 1948 special “Last Minute” issue of paper of the Fighters for Freedom Underground group, known as the Stern Gang. Intended to by affixed to street walls at night, under cover of darkness for protection. This issue was published only one month before Israel’s Declaration of Independence. A dramatic appeal for cooperation between the Haganah and the two underground groups, including two anti-British cartoons and secret slogans in code to activate fighters. 14 x 19 ½
